Official Distributor
The SHINING 3D FreeScan Combo Wireless Series is a family of wireless handheld metrology 3D scanners that work over Wi-Fi 7. The flagship FreeScan Combo+ Wireless combines a blue laser and infrared VCSEL light source with 93 laser lines, built-in video photogrammetry (VPG) and AI feature recognition, for up to 9,106,000 points per second at 0.02 mm accuracy.
The FreeScan Combo Wireless has the same accuracy, field of view, connection, size and weight, with a 50-laser-line high-speed mode and up to 7,344,000 points per second. Both weigh 550 g and suit inspection, quality control and reverse engineering in automotive, heavy industry, transportation and energy work. MAKE3D is the official distributor of SHINING 3D in Singapore.

Cut the cord. The scanner uses the Wi-Fi 7 protocol with anti-interference technology for fast, stable data transmission on busy factory floors and in outdoor environments. It also connects by USB 3.0.
At 550 g (189 x 81 x 53 mm) the scanner reaches into confined spaces and complex structures. On the Combo+ Wireless the battery supports up to 2 hours of continuous scanning, and with the rapid-charging dock you swap the battery and keep going.
The FreeScan Combo+ Wireless captures with 93 laser lines, which reduces scan paths, and 180 frames per second keeps tracking smooth during fast movements. Speed is up to 9,106,000 points per second, with meshes generated in real time. The Combo Wireless offers a 50-laser-line high-speed mode and up to 7,344,000 points per second.
SHINING 3D’s patented VPG continuously optimises the spatial position of reference markers during scanning, minimising cumulative error over long distances so large components keep consistent accuracy. Volumetric accuracy is 0.02 mm + 0.015 mm/m with VPG (0.02 mm + 0.03 mm/m without).
One scanner for the whole job:
Both models share the same accuracy (0.02 mm), field of view, working distance, Wi-Fi 7 / USB 3.0 connection, size and weight. The differences:

Every system is calibrated by the SHINING 3D Accuracy Laboratory, accredited by CNAS under ISO 17025, with calibration procedures following ISO 10360. Acceptance test: ISO 10360 certified, tested in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited accuracy lab.
See the mesh build in real time. AI feature recognition detects round holes, rectangular holes and slots, and intelligent resolution adapts mesh detail to curvature. Laser-line colour in the software and an LED on the scanner show the right scan distance, and a real-time mesh quality indicator shows where more coverage is needed.
Direct integration with SHINING3D Inspect for dimensional analysis, GD&T evaluation, colour map comparison and reporting. SHINING3D Inspect is certified by PTB.

It is a series of wireless handheld metrology 3D scanners from SHINING 3D: the FreeScan Combo+ Wireless and the FreeScan Combo Wireless. Both use Wi-Fi 7, a blue laser and infrared VCSEL light source, have 0.02 mm accuracy and weigh 550 g. MAKE3D is the official distributor of SHINING 3D in Singapore.
The Combo+ Wireless has 93 laser lines in high-speed mode and scans up to 9,106,000 points per second. The Combo Wireless has 50 laser lines and up to 7,344,000 points per second. The recommended computer graphics card also differs (RTX 5080 versus RTX 4070 Laptop GPU or above). Accuracy, field of view, working distance, connection, size and weight are the same.
It uses Wi-Fi 7 with anti-interference technology for wireless data transmission, and also connects by USB 3.0. On the Combo+ Wireless the battery supports up to 2 hours of continuous scanning, and with the rapid-charging dock you can swap the battery and keep scanning.
Yes. Built-in video photogrammetry (VPG) gives a volumetric accuracy of 0.02 mm + 0.015 mm/m (0.02 mm + 0.03 mm/m without VPG), aimed at keeping accuracy consistent across large components.
